The incontestable evidence of racism within workplaces is undeniable. Discussions concerning issues like the race pay gap and the underrepresentation of individuals from BAME backgrounds at senior levels are on the rise, both in the public eye and within corporate environments.
Some organizations are taking steps to introduce measures that enhance fairness and transparency in their processes. However we often overlook a crucial aspect in our quest to overcome them, the psychological dimension. To truly tackle these problems at their core, we need strong and resolute leadership. However, we must also acknowledge and address the potential impact these issues have already had.
