Jo is an experienced Business Psychologist and executive coach with a particular interest in enhancing the capability of individuals through coaching, leadership development and in-depth assessment and feedback. She works with senior executives and managers in a variety of organisations and sectors, delivering in-depth psychological assessments and development and assessment programmes. Jo has a particular interest in the application of mindfulness in the context of coaching psychology.
Following her first degree in Psychology, Jo obtained an MSc in Occupational Psychology where her dissertation examined the validity of a University of London selection process (Distinction). She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching. Jo qualified as a Chartered Psychologist 14 years ago and is a member of the British Psychological Society. Jo started her career in research at Birkbeck College, moving into consultancy in 1997, since when she has worked in a variety of consulting and freelance roles. As a freelance Business Psychologist, Jo has worked for a range of private and public sector clients including KPMG, RBS, the BBC and the Security Service. She became part of the Pearn Kandola team in 2012 and with us has delivered senior level assessment and development programmes for Nationwide, BG Group, AXA and Marks & Spencer.
