Trisha is a Business Psychologist with a Diploma in Performance Coaching and is a Registered Personality and Ability Test User (Level A/B). She is qualified to interpret and use a very wide range of psychometric tests. Following her original degree in Psychology from the University of York, she worked in the travel and security business before completing her master’s degree in Occupational Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire.
Since qualifying, Trisha has been working for more than 20 years in business psychology, particularly in the assessment and development field. She has worked across a wide variety of industries – both public and private sectors – and most recently in banking, pharmaceuticals, mining, professional services, and oil and gas. She is an active member of the Business Psychology community, regularly attending professional development events, and was on the Management Board for the Association for Business Psychology for four years.
One of Trisha’s main interests is in using her observational and technical skills to enable managers and leaders to develop their self-awareness. Self-awareness is key to behaviour change which, in turn, is key to improving personal motivation and performance. Trisha uses a combination of challenge, support, empathy and humour when working with her clients.
