Graduating with a degree in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University and Masters in Applied Psychology from Cranfield Institute of Technology, Laura Haycock is able to apply a strong academic mind to a wide range of business and HR challenges.
A Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Laura has over 20 years of consultancy experience working with leading organisations across all aspects of talent management including: selection and assessment; performance management; career development; employee engagement; leadership and team development; and culture change.
Laura has a particularly strong insight into the challenges of managing a business having co-directed an environmental consultancy business for ten years. This enables her to understand better the needs of her clients and identify practical solutions to help them achieve high business performance.
In addition to designing and managing large projects, Laura has enjoyed working 1:1 with many individuals to coach and support them in their development. She uses her training in Coaching Psychology to help others develop self-awareness and enhance their self-confidence to succeed.
Before joining Pearn Kandola in 2013, Laura gained extensive consultancy experience delivering selection and assessment systems, performance management, leadership and organisational development programmes to a wide range of organisations within finance, government, construction, transport, professional services and charity sectors. This included clients such as Abu Dhabi Government, Bayer, British Airways, European Central Bank, Hewitt Associates, Lord Chancellor’s Department, McAlpine, Menzies Aviation, National Trust, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sellafield.
