How Imposter Syndrome affects your organisation

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Tower of London, Pepys Street, London, UK
November 5, 2019 8:30 am

In this breakfast seminar, Guilaine Kinouani, Senior Psychologist at Pearn Kandola, explores Imposter Syndrome through a psychological lens. The seminar will contain a brief introduction to the phenomenon and then theoretical, experiential, and practical elements to help leaders and managers recognise Imposter Syndrome in others (and possibly in themselves). It will also include some strategies which can be employed to help mitigate its impact.

Guilaine’s work in this area is grounded in the challenges and opportunities associated with navigating ‘difference’, intersectionality and, in formulating the links between organisational processes and employees’ personal histories. Consequently, Guilaine will look at how Imposter Syndrome affects those in minority groups.
