The Mindful Leader: happier, calmer, more engaging and effective?
September 26, 2019 8:30 am
The complexity, instability, and relentless pace of the modern workplace leaves many leaders feeling uncertain, isolated, and strained. Mindful leadership uses tools and exercise to increase reflection and self-awareness. Mindful leaders are able to be more present, compassionate, and equipped to handle stressful situations.
Mindfulness allows you to clear your mind, focus, and make better decisions. Many leaders who practice mindfulness have reported increased innovative thinking, business acumen, and ‘soft skills’. Research also shows the health benefits of mindfulness practice. It can lower blood pressure, improve sleep, and engender a sense of wellbeing.
Drawing on the latest research and our own expertise in coaching and mindfulness practice, Stuart Duff and Tracey Moggeridge will explore the role that mindfulness plays in strong, effective, and engaging leadership. In particular, this seminar will engage you in mindfulness practices focused on reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing and engagement.
