Imposter syndrome can manifest in various aspects of one’s life, but its workplace repercussions can be particularly profound. Those grappling with imposter syndrome may tend to overexert themselves or develop a harmful inclination toward perfectionism in an endeavour to combat their feelings of inadequacy. Consequently, they may struggle to bounce back from setbacks, ultimately hindering their career advancement by holding themselves back from pursuing personal aspirations or seizing opportunities for growth.
