Fostering Trust in a Dispersed Work Environment

A lack of trust represents a significant factor contributing to a toxic workplace. This issue frequently originates with managers and leaders and eventually affects the entire team, resulting in challenges related to productivity, engagement, well-being, and morale.

Regrettably, research indicates that mistrust is a prevalent problem, especially among remote workers. In January, a Catalyst survey encompassing more than 1,700 full-time employees in five European countries, including the UK, revealed that only 46% of employees in Europe reported feeling “often or always” trusted at work.
