The 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services ™ list was revealed this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Pearn Kandola among the list of organisations in the Small & Medium size category.

Great Place To Work® Certification™ is the most definitive ‘employer-of-choice’ recognition that companies aspire to achieve. It’s the only recognition based entirely on what employees report about their workplace experience – specifically, how consistently they experience a high-trust workplace.

Anonymous employee comments from our latest Trust Index© survey results help to highlight what makes Pearn Kandola a Great Place To Work:

“I love the work that we do, I feel very proud of our brand, our reputation and of the research that Binna and the research team deliver. We are always willing to experiment with new ideas and new ways of working – at our best we are a fast moving, decisive, exciting and engaging place to work. Not everything we do is perfect, but the vast majority of actions and decisions are made with the right intent – to be fair, inclusive, fun and a considerate place to work.”

“It’s the kind of job that makes you feel proud at the end of the day.”

“It’s fantastic to work with a group of open-minded, knowledgeable, and highly experienced individuals. These colleagues truly embody the company’s values, and I deeply appreciate the chance to collaborate with and learn from them.”

The Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ list is created using the anonymous feedback from employees working in the industry about their workplace experience. These firms cover a diverse range of knowledge intensive roles, from legal services to management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising, telecoms, real estate, recruitment, and travel management to name a few.

Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based consulting and professional services employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.  The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found:

  • 87% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Consulting & Professional Services say “Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work” compared to 69% at a typical company in this sector.

Louise Weston, Partner and Head of People, commented:

“We’re delighted to be once again recognised by Great Place To Work®, because this recognition comes directly from our people. Our core mission is to make the world fairer, and it’s important to us to lead by example and set the standard in our own organisation. To be named on the list of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Consulting & Professional Services in the SME category is a testament to our people and culture, as well as the work we do with our clients to pass on this knowledge and expertise.”

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said:

“Employees in consulting and professional services are under increasing pressure to perform amidst digital transformation and shifting client expectations reshaping how people work. The top-performing workplaces in this sector stand out by actively supporting their employees through change. Employees have shared with us that clear, consistent communication from leadership, and a focus on inclusive decision-making, have helped to ensure colleagues feel supported, informed, and empowered. Congratulations Pearn Kandola on creating a truly great workplace, and earning recognition as a UK’s Best Workplace in Consulting & Professional Services™”
