A Week Off to Recharge: Should Others Consider Bumble’s Approach?

It’s crucial to ensure that employees take regular breaks throughout the day and maintain reasonable working hours.

Bumble, the dating app company, has provided its employees with a paid week off to recover from the “collective burnout” brought on by the pandemic. Whitney Wolfe Herd, the CEO, instructed all 700 employees to take a week off with pay.

Bumble mentioned that their “global team has had a very challenging time during the pandemic,” and they wanted to give their teams an opportunity to focus on self-care for a week as vaccination rates increased and restrictions eased.
