Is Remote Holiday Work the ‘Emerging Standard’?

During the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown, data collected by Instant Offices indicates that 60% of employees in the United Kingdom carried out their duties from their residences. According to a study by “Finder,” 26% of these employees express their intention to maintain a remote working arrangement even after the lockdown period.

A survey conducted by Remote.co among full-time remote workers highlighted the primary hurdles they face. A significant 40% of these employees reported difficulty in disconnecting from work after their scheduled hours. Additional substantial challenges encompassed non-work distractions (32%), loneliness (23%), and the resolution of technical issues (21%).
