Information Security and Compliance Manager
About Jim
Jim is the Information Security and Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer at Pearn Kandola. He is responsible for the security of our data, ensuring we are adhering to standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, and for taking countermeasures to protect our data against any potential threats. In addition, Jim ensures that Pearn Kandola act in line with relevant legislation, such as GDPR and the new DUAA Act, and liaises with both clients and suppliers on data security and compliance matters.
He joined the team in 2024, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience in IT project management and over 5 years in information security. During his time with us, Jim has streamlined internal processes and implemented robust security measures for data stored both digitally and physically.
