Is a Christmas Party on Employees’ Wish lists this Holiday Season?

A survey conducted last year in the United Kingdom regarding the holiday benefits that employees most desire from their employers found a quarter (25%) of the respondents expressed their preference for receiving a Christmas bonus, while an additional 23% indicated their desire for a pay increase. In contrast, only 8% of respondents expressed an interest in attending a team dinner.

Such surveys, which frequently make headlines annually, consistently argue that employees tend to favour receiving monetary gifts for the holidays over participating in an office party. This has likely left many business leaders pondering the best approach to address this matter.
